PICT Model School has a well equipped library to inculcate reading habits in students from the early childhood. The books open many horizons of thoughts for the little creative minds and allows them to explore a lot of new things.
Composite Lab
Labs are meant to impart practical knowledge to students and PICT makes sure the labs are fully equipped and furnished so that students understand the practical side of every experiment without any glitch and are safe at the same time.
Math and ICT lab
PICT Model school has a Math and ICT lab where students learn and understand the day to day progress in computers and technology. The use of the machines have entered in our everyday lives and it has become important to know and learn how the technology works.
PHYSICS LAB
Experimentation is an integral part of the core subject. The Physics Lab at PICT Model School provides meaningful learning in laboratory activities where students are provided with opportunities to use equipment and materials in an environment that serves as a testing ground for the predictive power of their reasoning and systematic development of students’ ideas.
CHEMISTRY LAB
The Chemistry Lab at PICT Model School Labs provides opportunities for students to learn and experiment as they indulge in a creative interplay of observation, experimentation, and theoretical inferences. The identification and hands-on laboratory equipment are not only integral parts of the subject but also play a crucial role in the ongoing intellectual development of students.
BIOLOGY LAB
The Biology Lab along with field activities at PICT Model School provides students with opportunities to question, observe, sample, experience, and experiment with scientific phenomena in their quest for knowledge of living things.
Kitchen Garden
PICT Model School has adapted this very important need of today’s lives which is to grow organic vegetables and fruits in one’s own garden! We encourage our students to learn and follow the same so as to make them understand the need and importance of organic farming.
Physical Education
Exercise, Yoga, sports and other physical activities play an important role in keeping the students active and energetic. We have dedicated sessions for sports, yoga and physical education. Learners at PICT are trained to play sports like badminton, basketball and table tennis besides local and indigenous games to develop their motor skills and team spirit.
Enhancement Centre
PICT Model School has an enhancement centre, a dedicated area where kids can play, explore their innate creativity and learn the tricks of problem solving through various games, puzzles and acts of mock up situations.
Visual Arts
Visual arts consist of drawing, painting, crafts, photography, sculpture etc. We at PICT Model School introduce the students to these categories and let them choose the field of their liking to learn and pursue.
Performing Arts
Along with the curriculum and studies, the co-scholastic activities are given equal importance at PICT Model school. Music, Dance and Singing are the main roots of performing arts and PICT encourages its students to pursue them according to their likings.
