To be the Torchbearers as envisaged by the National Education Policy 2020 at PICT Model School, look through the subject-specific prerequisites given below.
- Home Room Teachers (For Grades 1 & 2): Graduates with a B.Ed from any recognised university in India with a deep conceptual understanding of English, EVS and Math.
- English: Graduate in/with English and having English as one of the methodologies in B.Ed. A Certificate / Diploma in Teaching & Learning / CELTA Certificate / Certificate in TESOL will be an added advantage.
- Science: Graduate in/with Science and having Science as one of the methodologies in B.Ed.
- Social Science: Graduate in/with Geography / History / Political Science / Economics and having at least one of the Social Science subjects as a methodology in B.Ed.
- Mathematics: Graduate in or with Math and having Math as one of the methodologies in B.Ed.
- Computer Science: Graduate in /with Computer Science / Computer Applications / Information Technology or Graduate with Mathematics and a Diploma in IT from any recognised university.
- Hindi: Graduate in/with Hindi and having Hindi as one of the methodologies in B.Ed.
- Marathi: Graduate in/with Marathi and having Marathi as one of the methodologies in B.Ed.
- Sanskrit: Graduate in/with Sanskrit and having Sanskrit as one of the methodologies in B.Ed. / Pandit training.
- French: Graduate in/with French / Diploma in Teaching French / having at least B2 Level DELF Certificate.
- German: Graduate in/with German / Diploma in Teaching German / having at least B2 Level Goethe - Zertifikat Certificate / DAF Certificate.
- Vocal Music: Graduate in/with Music and Sangeet Visharad Certificate from any recognised university.
- Dance: Graduate in/with Classical Dance / Diploma in Classical Dance from any recognised university.
- Art: Postgraduate in Fine Arts/ Graduate in Fine Arts with Painting or Drawing specialization from any recognized university.
- Counsellor: Graduate in Psychology / Post-Graduate in Child Development / Graduate with Diploma in Career Guidance and Counselling.
- Special Educator: Graduate in Psychology with a B.Ed in Special Education.
- Librarian: Post-Graduate / Graduate with a degree/diploma in Library Science from a recognised university. Candidates should have good communication skills and should possess the art of inspiring a love for reading in young minds.
- English: Post-Graduate in English with Graduation in/with English or Diploma in Teaching of English from the Institute of English & Foreign Languages (IEFL), Hyderabad. Having a B.Ed. with English as one of the methodologies will be an advantage. A Certificate / Diploma in Teaching & Learning / CELTA Certificate / Certificate in TESOL will be an added advantage.
- Mathematics: Post-Graduate in Mathematics with Graduation in/with Mathematics from any recognised university in India or abroad or M.Sc. Ed. in the subject from the Regional College of Education, NCERT. Having a B.Ed. with Mathematics as one of the methodologies will be an advantage.
- Physics: Post-Graduate in Physics from any recognised university in India or abroad with Graduation in/with Physics or M.Sc. Ed. in the subject from the Regional College of Education, NCERT. Having a B.Ed. with Science as one of the methodologies will be an advantage.
- Chemistry: Post Graduate in Chemistry/Bio-Chemistry from any recognised university in India or abroad with Graduation in/with Chemistry/Bio-Chemistry or M.Sc. Ed. in the subject from the Regional College of Education, NCERT. Having a B.Ed. with Science as one of the methodologies will be an advantage.
- Biology: Post Graduate in Zoology/Botany/Physiology from any recognised university in India or abroad with Graduation in/with Zoology/Botany/Physiology or M.Sc. Ed. in the subject from the Regional College of Education, NCERT. Having a B.Ed. with Science as one of the methodologies will be an advantage.
- Economics: Post Graduate in Economics from any recognised university in India or abroad with Graduation in/with Economics and a strong base in Mathematics/Statistics. Having a B.Ed. in Economics as one of the methodologies will be an advantage.
- History: Post Graduate in History from any recognised university in India or abroad with Graduation in/with History. Having a B.Ed. with History as one of the methodologies will be an advantage.
- Geography: Post Graduate in Geography from any recognised university in India or abroad with Graduation in/with Geography. Having a B.Ed. in Geography as one of the methodologies will be an advantage.
- Accounts: Masters in Commerce with Accountancy, from any recognised university in India or abroad with Graduation / B.Ed. from a recognized Institute.
- Business Studies: Masters in Commerce with Business Studies from any recognised university in India or abroad with Graduation/ B.Ed. from a recognized Institute.
- Entrepreneurship: Masters in Commerce with Entrepreneurship from a recognized University / B.Ed. from a recognized Institute.
- Financial Market Management: M.Com./ MBA / MA in Economics / Masters in Financial Management / Masters in Financial Services / Equivalent for Accounting for Business / Bachelor Degree from a recognized Institute with NSE’s Certification in Financial Markets NCFM.
- Commercial Arts: MA in Fine Arts (with Commercial Art or Applied Arts Specialization). Intermediate / Higher Secondary / Senior School Secondary with 5 years of experience / Diploma in Commercial Arts from a recognized Institute or University.
- Psychology: Graduate/Post Graduate in Psychology / Post Graduate in Child Development or Graduate/Post Graduate with Diploma in Career Guidance and Counselling.
- Applied Mathematics: M.Sc. in Mathematics/B.Ed. from an institution recognized by NCTE.
- Computer Science: BE, B.Tech. in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Masters in Information Technology / B.Sc. (Computer Science), M.Sc. (Mathematics), MCA / B.Ed. from NCTE.
- Administrative Executive: SETR's Skills Edge (Centre for Excellence in English), an authorised exam centre for the Cambridge English Language Assessment [CELA], an associate of PICT Model School, is looking for young, committed professionals with good communication and interpersonal skills to be the face of the centre. Knowledge of local Indian languages, proficiency in English and MS Office, readiness for frequent travels and possessing a positive attitude towards learning and training are a must.
- Admin Head: Dynamic and motivated professionals with excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills with extensive experience in educational institutions. Working knowledge of Marathi and Hindi will be an added advantage.
- HR Admin: Maintaining all personal files of the staff and looking after the HR needs, liaising with guests on behalf of the Principal/ Management, liaising with CBSE Board representatives and meeting all statutory compliance, proficiency in written and spoken English, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google docs, sheets and slides.
- Front Office Executive: Graduate with excellent communication skills, good interpersonal and liaison skills, working knowledge of computers and a pleasant personality.
- Lab Assistant: Graduate with good communication skills and at least 3 years of experience in similar profiles from reputed organisation.
- Data Entry Operator: Graduate with proficiency in MS Office, Photoshop, Designing and Publishing software with a typing speed of at least 80 words per minute. Typing knowledge in Hindi and Marathi script will be an advantage.
- Librarian: A Bachelor degree in Library Science / Graduate with a one-year diploma in Library Science from a recognized Institution.
- Sports Coordinator: Master Degree in Physical Education from a recognised University (M.P.Ed)/Graduate in Physical Education (B.P.Ed) from any recognized university. The candidate should be enterprising, should possess good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. Preference will be given to candidates who possess at least 3 years of experience in similar profiles from reputed institutions.
Procedure
Step 1: Fill in the application form with the required details (Note: all the fields need to be filled in)
Step 2: Scrutiny of application form and verification of documents. Resume with current photo, self attested photocopies of all relevant documents need to be attached with the application form.
Step 3: Taking a written assessment comprising three parts: General Aptitude, Teaching Aptitude and Subject Specific Assessment.
Step 4: Upon scoring 80% and above, a demo will be scheduled on a mutually agreed timing.
Step 5: Based on the success of the demo, a final interview with the Principal will be scheduled to discuss the job profile, terms and conditions of employment and remuneration.
Step 6: Offer letter will be issued to selected candidates. Candidates have to send a written acceptance to confirm their employment within 24 hours from the date of issue.
Step 7: Appointment letter will be issued on the first day of joining PICT Model School. If a candidate fails to report to duty on the first day without prior notification, the appointment will stand cancelled thereof.

We value time. Therefore, prior appointment is appreciated. Candidates have to carry one set of self-attested photocopy of the above mentioned documents. Originals will be required for verification. The entire procedure may take at least half a day.
